What with all the Regency-related sewing activity lately, I’ve been keenly aware of just how much work it takes to create fine clothing completely by hand. Not that I’ve managed to do it, mind you, but I’ve been thinking about it. Which must count towards improving my skills in some sort of capacity. I hope.
So, this week’s Weekend Wow is a salute to the phenomenal hand-work that is found in Georgian and Regency clothing of all types…each one a salute to the skill and dedication of the craftsman/woman who created it. Some of these just plain blow me away.
